Adorn Mod (26.2, 1.20.1) – Decorate Your Home

Adorn Mod fills the gap between building a house and living in it, adding the furniture that vanilla Minecraft never got around to. Chairs and sofas can actually be sat on, drawers hold items in a smaller and tidier box than a chest, and a full set of kitchen counters, cupboards and sinks lets a kitchen look like one. Every block comes in variants that follow the wood and stone types you already have, so a birch room gets birch furniture.

• Stone torches burn from stone rather than wood and give out more light than the vanilla torch.

• Tables, shelves, fences and chimneys round out the set for the rest of the house.
• Trading stations let you set up a shop front rather than leaving a villager loose in the room.
• Torches go out when they end up underwater, which keeps lighting honest.
• Blocks come in variants matching vanilla wood and stone, and matching several other mods’ materials too.
• Builds cover Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with Quilt also needing Quilted Fabric API.
• Recipe viewers including JEI, REI and EMI read the mod’s recipes correctly.

How to Use:

1. Install your loader, adding Quilted Fabric API if you play on Quilt. Forge and NeoForge need nothing extra.
2. Drop the Adorn jar into .minecraft/mods and start the game.
3. Open a recipe viewer, or the recipe book, and search for a chair or a counter to see what each one costs.
4. Craft the pieces from the same wood or stone you built the room in so the variants match.
5. Place a chair and right click it to sit down. Right click a sofa instead if you want to sleep.
6. Add Mod Menu on Fabric if you want to reach the mod’s settings screen from inside the game.
