Alex’s Mob Mod adds 89 new mobs to Minecraft, ranging from real-world animals to fictional monsters. Every mob brings its own behaviors, special mechanics, and useful item drops to make biomes feel alive. You can spot Grizzly Bears, Orcas, Crocodiles, Hammerhead Sharks, Tigers, Sunbirds, and Bone Serpents across the world. Most wild animals stay peaceful unless you attack them or get too close, while fictional monsters are usually hostile. When you enter a world for the first time, this mod gives you an Animal Dictionary that explains each mob and its drops.

  • Adds 89 new mobs with custom models, textures, animations, and AI that fit the vanilla Minecraft style.
  • Brings real-world animals into your world, including Grizzly Bears, Roadrunners, Orcas, Crocodiles, Gorillas, Elephants, Kangaroos, Tigers, and Lobsters.
  • Introduces fictional mobs and bosses such as the Bone Serpent, Endergrade, Sunbird, Crimson Mosquito, Mimicube, and the Void Worm boss.
  • Gives every mob a real purpose with special mechanics or item drops instead of adding mobs just for decoration.
  • Lets rare and endangered animals like the Komodo Dragon and Hammerhead Shark drop items by doing specific actions rather than dying.
  • Allows players to craft unique weapons, arrows, potions, and armor with special effects from mob drops.
  • Keeps most real-world animals neutral unless you provoke them by getting too close or attacking, while most fictional mobs attack on sight.
  • Provides an Animal Dictionary guide book when you first join a world, which you can craft again using a vanilla book, green dye, and any item from this mod.
  • Supports detailed spawn settings by biome categories, registry names, and dimension tags so it works well with biome mods and modpacks.
