Bad Beacon Mod introduces a dark twist to the traditional Minecraft beacon. Instead of granting beneficial effects, this mod allows players to craft beacons that emit harmful status effects, adding a new layer of challenge and strategy to the game.

Features:

  • Create beacons that apply detrimental status effects to players within their range, turning a symbol of power into a tool of adversity.​
  • Utilize data packs to define custom blocks and items for beacon bases and payments using the tags bad_beacon_base and bad_beacon_payment.​
  • By default, only players are affected, but configuration options allow all living entities to be impacted, broadening the scope of the beacon’s influence.
