Bow Infinity Fix Mod removes the need to keep a spare arrow in your bag before an Infinity enchanted bow will shoot. Vanilla Minecraft still asks archers to carry at least one arrow for the enchantment to work, which quietly ties up an inventory slot for no reason. This mod drops that requirement, and since Minecraft 1.20.5 it covers crossbows as well.
Features:
- An Infinity bow fires normally with zero arrows anywhere in your inventory.
- Crossbows carrying Infinity are handled too on 1.20.5 and newer, matching Mojang’s own change to how they load.
- Frees up the inventory slot that vanilla forces every archer to reserve for a single arrow.
- Written from scratch, taking its cue from Myrathi’s older InfiniBows mod.
- One small jar covers Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across many Minecraft versions.
- No config file to edit and no new items, blocks or recipes are added to the game.
- Special arrows such as tipped or spectral arrows still behave the way vanilla intends when you carry them.
How to Use:
- Install Fabric, Forge or NeoForge for the Minecraft version you play on.
- Drop the mod jar into your
.minecraft/modsfolder and start the game. - Put Infinity on a bow at an enchanting table, or combine it with a book at an anvil.
- Empty your arrows into a chest, hold the bow and shoot. The bow keeps firing with nothing left in your bag.
- On 1.20.5 and above the same applies to a crossbow once Infinity is on it.
