Cave Dweller Delight Depths & Delicacies Mod brings useful monster drops and cooking recipes to underground encounters. Defeating cave monsters now gives you ingredients to cook tasty dishes or craft sturdy weapons. The mod also adds its own scary dweller with unique hunting mechanics, custom structures, and a new villager profession. It connects underground horror with kitchen mechanics so you have a real reason to fight back against the dark.
Features:
- Monster Food Drops: Killing cave dwellers drops meat parts that you can turn into pies, pasties, and hearty stews.
- Dweller Stun System: Landing three critical hits temporarily stops the monster from chasing you so you can escape.
- Cave-Diver Villager: Spawns a new profession using the Surveying Table block to trade rare items, special paintings, and cooked dishes.
- Adds the Cave Dweller Hunting Mace as a craftable melee weapon made from monster parts.
- Lets you wear dropped monster heads in the helmet slot or in a Curios slot.
- Generates underground structures such as cave tunnels and monster nests.
- Unlocks new advancements and recipes in the standard recipe book as you collect items.

How to Use:
- Explore deep caves to encounter underground dwellers and fight them.
- Land three jumping critical hits with a weapon to temporarily stun the monster.
- Collect dropped legs and heads after defeating the creature.
- Use a cutting board or cooking pot to prepare dishes like pasties, stews, and monster pies.
- Place a Surveying Table near an unemployed villager to trade for specialty goods and paintings.
