Classic Sword Blocking Mod (1.21.8, 1.20.1) is a mod that brings back a feature from pre-1.9 versions of Minecraft: defending by blocking with a sword. Using this defense system does not reduce the sword’s durability. As shown in the image, when a player holds a sword and presses the right mouse button, the sword will block incoming attacks—whether melee, arrows, or explosions. This defense can block up to half of the damage dealt to the player.

Features:

  • Right-click while holding any sword to block incoming damage—just like the old days.
  • Blocks up to 50% of damage from melee attacks, arrows, and even explosions.
  • Blocking doesn’t wear down your sword, so you can defend freely without worrying about repairs.
