Classic Sword Blocking Mod (1.21.8, 1.20.1) is a mod that brings back a feature from pre-1.9 versions of Minecraft: defending by blocking with a sword. Using this defense system does not reduce the sword’s durability. As shown in the image, when a player holds a sword and presses the right mouse button, the sword will block incoming attacks-whether melee, arrows, or explosions. This defense can block up to half of the damage dealt to the player.

Features:

  • Right-click while holding any sword to block incoming damage-just like the old days.
  • Blocks up to 50% of damage from melee attacks, arrows, and even explosions.
  • Blocking doesn’t wear down your sword, so you can defend freely without worrying about repairs.
