Companion Mod (26.1.1, 1.20.1) – New Pet Mechanics

Companion Mod introduces new features that are pertained to the companion system of the game. While everyone loves their wolves and cats, these pets can sometimes be a little bit dumb as they wouldn’t follow players’ exact commands, thus resulting in them getting lost and being out of sight from the owners. During the heat of the battle and adventure, it would be quite difficult to keep an eye on these companions as well since players need to take care of other demeanors. To mitigate these issues, Companion places significant emphasis on integrating new systems that would help pets to get closer to their owners. From now on, pets will take notice of their own health bar and teleport back to their owners accordingly. At the same time, whenever players travel through a portal, a lease will allow players to bring their pets along. Other companions such as the parrot will also receive new features which help secure their location on players’ shoulders as well.

Features:

• Companions will not attack any enemies if their health is under 20%.
• Companions will teleport back to players once they are hurt (under 20% health).
• Pets and Companions can enter the Portal by using a lease.
• Parrots will stay on players’ shoulders.
