Crop Critters Mod (1.21.11, 1.21.1) turns your crops into helpful little creatures that automate farming tasks like planting, harvesting, and cleaning weeds. Manage them wisely, because your farm can grow faster but also become more dangerous with spreading weeds and chaotic critters.

Features:

Critters are living crops that help automate farming.
Most crops have:
- 8% chance to turn into a critter when fully grown
- + chance on Soul Farmland
Lost Soul:
- 40% → spawn critter from crop
- 50% → tame a wild critter
Farmer’s Treat:
- Heals critters
- Resets their cooldown instantly

Critters Overview

Wheat Critter
- Breaks weeds and dead bushes
- Simple farm cleaner
Carrot Critter
- Turns dirt into Farmland
- Auto-prepares soil
Beetroot Critter
- Converts Rooted Dirt → Dirt
Potato Critter
- Converts Coarse Dirt → Dirt
Poisonous Potato Critter
- Cannot be tamed
- Applies poison to nearby entities
- Destroys crops and turtle eggs
Pumpkin Critter
- Plants crops using Seed Ball attack
- Attacks enemies (ranged)
Melon Critter
- Speeds up crop growth (waters crops)
Cocoa Critter
- Harvests crops automatically
- Stores up to 5 items
- Deposits items into hoppers
Nether Wart Critter
- Dangerous when wild (explodes after time)
- Tamed version becomes safe
Torchflower Critter
- Emits light (level 12)
- Can follow player
Pitcher Critter
- Eats mobs
- Produces Strange Fertilizer
- Can drop loot from eaten critters

- Can revive dead coral

- Thrown item that removes weeds

- Food + critter utility item
Popper Pod
- Plants Popper Plants
- Boosts Elytra flight

Soul Farmland
- +33% faster crop growth
- + higher weed chance
- + higher critter spawn chance
- No water required

- Stores Lost Souls
- Used to create Soul Rose
Soul Rose
- Special multi-block structure
- 3 types:
  - Copper → prevents weeds (slower growth)
  - Iron → chance to double drops
  - Gold → damages undead (Soul Siphon)

Weeds (Main Threat)

Spread and replace crops
Can damage or affect players:
- Slow (Crawl Thistle, Thornweed)
- Levitation (Waftgrass)
- Damage / trap (Bonejaw)
Removed by:
- Shears
- Herbicide
