Many players die multiple times when attempting to beat a boss mob. Every time the player respawns, he will manage to take off some portion of the boss mob’s health, and then gets defeated by the boss. Players then respawn and repeat the process until the boss is defeated. This is not a very respectable way to face a boss mob. Death But Three Mod (1.20.2, 1.20.1) is here to put a limitation for this. With this mod installed, players are allowed to die up to a maximum of two times when facing a boss mob. If the player dies a third time, the health and other stats of the boss mob will be reset.

Features:

  • Prevents players from exploiting the respawn mechanic to defeat boss mobs.
  • Players are allowed to die up to two times. Dying a third time will cause the mob’s stats, including health, to reset to initial conditions.
  • Ensures that boss mobs give players the challenge they are supposed to give.
