Dense Ores Mod (1.11.2, 1.10.2) – Find Rare 3x Ore Deposits

Dense Ores Mod adds special ‘dense’ versions of ore blocks to your world that drop three times the items of regular ores. It generates about 1 to 10 dense blocks in each chunk, replacing some of the ores that have already spawned. This results in an overall ore increase of about 5%. The textures for these new ores are created automatically, so they will match any texture pack you are using.

Features:

Get 3x the items when mining a dense ore block.
Find 1-10 dense ore blocks naturally generated in every chunk.
Textures are automatically generated to match the base ore and surrounding stone, making it compatible with resource packs.
Add dense versions for ores from other mods through the configuration file.

Configuration:

New ores can be added through the config file. These settings are mainly for modpack developers.

S:baseBlock: The ore block you want to create a dense version of. Use the format modid:blockname.
I:baseBlockMeta: The metadata value for the block (a number from 0-15).
S:baseBlockTexture: The name of the ore’s texture file.
D:denseOreProbability: This option is currently unused.
I:renderType: Changes how the dense ore texture is generated.
I:retroGenId: Set this to a number other than zero to generate dense ores in existing chunks. You can change the number to run it again.
S:underlyingBlock: The texture of the block the ore is found in, such as stone or netherrack.
