Easy Paper Mod (1.19.4, 1.18.2) allows players to acquire paper through an easier means rather than having to plant a sugar cane and wait for it to grow. With Easy Paper, players can either compress regular Leaves to turn them into two pieces of paper or compress bamboo into blocks and turn them into paper manually. With these two methods, players would have access to paper quite early on, thus facilitating the creation of a bookshelf for a fully functional enchanting zone. However, these processes require a new utility block to perform, the Wooden Masher. From now on, players can rush the early game rather than having a timer set on their heads for a sugar cane to fully mature, as even then, players would need more than a singular cane as the number of paper required for a fully-decked out enchanting zone is quite a lot.
