Enchiridion Mod (1.12.2, 1.11.2) – Craft Your Own Game Guides

Enchiridion Mod lets you create and use custom books in Minecraft. It is a helpful tool for modpack makers who want to make their own guidebooks with pictures and recipes. This mod was originally part of Mariculture but is now a separate mod.

What else other than Custom Books?

Enchiridion also has the book binder. This is an item, that can store up to 21 mod books, handy for all those guides that you get, portable, and light! The recipe is simply, 2 string and 2 paper. String on left, paper on right, can be crafted in your handy dandy 2×2 player crafting. All you need to do to use is, is right click to open it’s interface and place the mod guides inside, you can then right click them from this interface to open them up.

Features:

• Advanced Book Editor: Design custom books with a full editor. Add buttons that can perform actions like opening webpages.
• Easy Editing Tools: Reposition elements by dragging them. You can also lock layers or make them invisible.
• A timeline feature lets you move or add new pages.
• Use a grid to help position items, and select multiple items at once with CTRL-click.
• Copy and paste features between different pages and even different books.
• Easily change a book’s background and icon.
• Choose to show or hide tooltips for specific items and recipes inside your books.
• Player Library: Store up to 65 books in a personal library that is tied to your character.
• Book Binder: An item that can hold up to 21 mod books, saving inventory space.
• Comes with a default book to explain some features and help you get started with the editor.

How to Use:

1. To learn the editor, read the default book that comes with the mod.
2. To use the Book Binder, right-click the item to open its menu.
3. Place your mod guides inside the Book Binder to store them. You can then right-click them from the menu to read them.
