Fishermen’s Trap Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) – Catch Fish Passively While You Mine

Fishermen’s Trap Mod adds a wooden trap block to passively catch fish in the water. It gives you an easy way to gather food without holding a fishing rod all day. You place the trap in the water, put some crop bait inside, and let it do the work for you. This gives you a steady supply of fish for your cooking recipes while you go mine or build.

Features:

• Passive Fishing: The mod catches fish over time so you do not have to stand by the water.
• Specific Baits: You use different crops inside the trap to attract different types of fish.
• Bread acts as a universal bait that catches any random fish from the water.
• The trap only works when you place it underwater in specific biomes like oceans, rivers, or lakes.
• It catches nothing if you place it in a small man-made pool outside of a natural water biome.
• The crafting recipe changes to use string if you do not play with Farmer’s Delight installed.

How to Use:

1. Craft the fish trap using wood and string or canvas.
2. Find a natural water biome like an ocean, river, or lake.
3. Place the trap fully underwater.
4. Open the trap menu and put bread or other crops inside as bait.
5. Check back later to collect your caught fish.
