Fix My SpawnR Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) fixes lag caused by active but unused mob spawners in Minecraft. It reduces unnecessary server strain by deactivating spawners that are not actively used, improving performance on servers and in modpacks.

Features:

  • Reduces lag caused by mob spawners scanning for players and spawn locations.
  • Adds a deadlock timer to spawners to stop spawning logic when not in use.
  • Works in single player but has greatest impact on servers.
  • Supports redstone-controlled spawners for mob farms.

How to Use:

  • For Minecraft 1.18:
    • Place a redstone signal ≥ 8 on top of a spawner (powered redstone dust, torch, or block) to activate it.
    • Recommended: redstone dust + lever for minimal light and space.
  • For Minecraft 1.19:
    • Apply a redstone signal ≥ 8 to the spawner (lever on side, torch below, etc.) to activate it.
    • Recommended: lever for 0 light and compact setup.

This allows you to still use mob farms while keeping unused spawners inactive.

Configs:

  • Server-side only. Clients do not need this mod.
  • Deadlock timer can be configured in the server config file.
  • Default timer: 1 Minecraft day (24000 ticks).
