Gritshell Mod (1.20.1) – Hunt Sleeping Swamp Bosses for Heavy Shell Armor

Gritshell Mod drops a dangerous new mini-boss into your swamp biomes. The boss sleeps hidden under the mud and only wakes up when you walk too close. Defeating this tough creature rewards you with special shards. You can use these shards to build a heavy morning star weapon or a protective shell armor. This mod brings a fresh combat challenge and unique gear to your survival world.

Features:

• Hidden Swamp Boss: Spawns a sleeping monster under the mud in swamp biomes that attacks when you get near.
• Two Combat Phases: Changes the fight when you break the creature’s shell off with enough hits.
• New Shell Armor: Lets you hide inside a custom chestplate to block all incoming damage.
• Drops six to seven special shell shards when you defeat the boss or break its shell.
• Adds a heavy morning star weapon that deals more damage if you block with a shield before swinging.
• Allows the morning star to hit through enemy shields if it has the new Scaring enchantment.
• Balances the new armor by limiting its durability, blocking your vision while hiding, and reducing any healing you get.

How to Use:

1. Walk through swamp biomes and look for the hidden boss sleeping under the mud to start the fight.
2. Keep attacking the boss’s shell to break it and force the second phase of the battle.
3. Hold up your shield right before attacking with the morning star to boost your weapon damage.
4. Equip the shell armor and hide inside it to block hits, but remember that you cannot see while hiding.
