Infused Gear Addon (1.21) adds ways to upgrade equipment and armor in addition to enchantments. Combining equipment with blue stones, amethyst, or red dust alters stats such as durability and luck. Blue stones increase the chance of receiving good enchantments but halve maximum durability. Amethyst doubles the item’s durability.
