Kogtyv’s Towny And Village Mod (1.21.8, 1.20.1) generates a selection of handcrafted “mini-cities” and cultural-themed villages assembled via jigsaw pieces. Through varied layouts and decorating, each spawn adds life and diversity to Overworld terrain.

Features:

This mod adds miniature cities, villages, and special structures to your world. Current structure types include: USSR City, Old Polish City, Saman Village, Greek Village, and Pyramids. These structures generate in plains, birch forests, taiga, and desert biomes. Buildings use varied room layouts and exterior decorations, and the game automatically selects which variation to generate using jigsaw blocks.

  • USSR City: Features dense districts of old Soviet apartment blocks with factories, stores, monuments, fountains, flowerbeds, and parks. Command: /locate ussr_medium_mix.
  • Old Polish City (Europe): Compact medieval-style European towns with small shops, fountains, and markets, without industrial zones. Command: /locate europe.
  • Pyramids: Ancient pyramid structures filled with hidden treasures, traps, and environmental challenges; some of the original clues and hints are only partially preserved.
  • Saman Village: Poor and cramped settlements with small houses, minor workshops, modest monuments, and small stores.
  • Greek Village: An ancient-style settlement that generates in birch forests, with houses mainly built from birch and calcite, and many small stalls run by villagers engaged in various trades.
