Litematica Mod (1.21.5, 1.20.1) – Extra Functionality for Creative Mode

Litematica Mod (1.21.5, 1.20.1) allows players to copy any structure into .litematic files, which can then be loaded in Minecraft as holograms of the build. This makes it easy to recreate structures, whether moving a build from a single-player creative world to a server, without having to run two Minecraft instances or take reference screenshots. Additionally, the mod helps visualize how a structure fits into a new location. One handy feature is the ability to see resource requirements for a build and even convert quantities into stack counts (e.g., showing that 281 stone blocks equal “4 stacks and 25 blocks”).

Features:

Advantages Over Schematica

• Displays required resources in stack form.
• Allows layer-by-layer construction for better organization.
• Preserves entities and items such as item frames, paintings, etc. (Note: Paintings are shifted one block up in the schematic view.)
• Works with shaders (tested with Chocapic13 Medium, but results may vary with other shader packs).

Limitations & Useful Information

• No built-in printer function. (Schematica had a printer that auto-placed blocks, but Litematica does not include this feature.)
• Does not work with VBO (can be fixed by disabling VBO in graphics settings).
• To select wand mode, hold Ctrl and scroll the mouse wheel.

How to use:

The default hotkey to open the in-game config GUI is M + C. If you are for example on AZERTY keyboard layout instead, then the keys are different, and M + C becomes, + C instead, etc.

Note: If you have Optifine installed, then there are some options that you most likely will need to disable in Optifine, or otherwise it will break the schematic rendering:

• Render Regions needs to be disabled
• Shaders need to be set to OFF, or alternatively disable VBOs in the vanilla Video settings, and disable both the ‘schematicOverlayModelOutline‘ and ‘schematicOverlayModelSides‘ options in the Visuals category
• Fast Render might also need to disable if there is still some weird HUD/GUI rendering issues
