Spawner blocks found in dungeons are very useful in creating beginner level mob grinders. But spawner blocks in the vanilla game come with a major drawback. They cannot be broken and collected by the player, and they also cannot be moved using pistons. The position they have been generated in the world is permanent. Mineable Spawner Mod (1.21.8, 1.20.6) is here to change that. This mod makes it possible to break and collect spawner blocks, and then place them somewhere else of your choice.

To change how to break the spawner

/scoreboard players set &break_spawner config.mineablespawner value

  • value = 0 = With any pickaxe
  • value = 1 = With any pickaxe that has silk touch –> default
  • value = 2 = Doesn’t drop

To change if XP from spawners drops or not

/scoreboard players set &xp_drop config.mineablespawner value

  • value = 0 = XP drops
  • value = 1 = No XP drops –> default
