The recent 1.20 update introduced archaeology into the game. And a new mechanism where players can obtain pottery artifacts by brushing down suspicious blocks was also introduced. The tool used to brush down suspicious blocks is the “brush tool”. Unlike other tools in the game, like axes, shovels, etc, the brush does not have different tiers to it. But not anymore! More Brushes Mod (1.21.8, 1.20.1) introduces brushes made using the vanilla tool tiers – copper, iron, golden, diamond and netherite.
