Not Enough Animations Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) fixes some movement animation bugs and also adds eating animations visible in third-person mode. When rowing a boat, the player’s hands will move, and when aiming with a bow, the player will no longer poke their face with an item in the off-hand. Aww-Yeah!

Now the game features eating and drinking animations, which mimic those seen in first-person view, i.e., the up-and-down motion of food. The map now appears beautifully and realistically, and other players will also see it, even if the player holds maps in both hands. The shield-handling animation has been slightly adjusted; now the shield handle is closer to the end of the hand, as if the player is actually holding it. If an item is in the off-hand, it will disappear while aiming with a bow or crossbow, rather than obstructing the player’s view. Cat-lol! When rowing a boat, the player now has a complete rowing animation. While riding a horse, the player will position their hands as if holding reins. The compass usage animation has also been improved.

Not Enough Animations Mod

Features:

Eating/Drinking

Maps (Yes you can see the map content if your client has been sent the map by holding it once/seeing it in an item frame)

Shield placement (you block where you look, not where the body is rotated to. So this will rotate the body with the head while blocking)

Don’t show items during two-handed animations (Hide the offhand item while using a bow/crossbow)

Boat rowing (No longer sitting there and staring at the self-moving Paddles)

Horses (at least act like you’re holding the reins)

Looking at a compass/clock (this one is actually more eye candy for the First-person Mod to make the compass better usable, but won’t hurt outside of that, can be modified in the config file to extend to more items)

Ladder/climbing animation

Crawling animation, replacing the swimming one while out of water

Smooth arm movement and transitions
