Opposing Force Mod (1.20.1, 1.20) – The End Unlocks New Foes

Opposing Force Mod adds a variety of new and challenging enemies to make your world more dangerous. This mod introduces unique monsters, along with new tools and weapons you can craft from their drops. It also adds a progression system where stronger enemies only appear after you reach the Nether and defeat the Ender Dragon, creating new challenges as you advance in the game.

Features:

• Progression Gates: Certain powerful enemies will only start spawning after you enter the Nether or defeat the Ender Dragon for the first time.
• Adds many new hostile mobs, each with its own unique way of fighting.
• New mobs drop materials that can be crafted into useful tools, weapons, and decorative blocks.
• Find new world generation features, like the Infested Apple Tree where the Tart mob can spawn.
• Get Emerald Armor from Wandering Traders.
• Some mobs have special spawning rules. For example, the Skyvern has a chance to appear near players every 30 seconds.

Configuration:

• You can disable the Post-Nether and Post-End progression gates in the config file.
• Adjust the spawn height requirements for most of the new mobs.
• The progression gates use data-driven tags (post_nether and post_end), which can be edited with a datapack.
