OriginsTweaks Mod (1.20.4, 1.20.1) is an Origins mod addon that tweaks the default Origins and adds many new abilities for a deeper and more balanced experience.

Features:

  • Avian: Avian has the Animal Friendship ability, which allows him to tame certain animals without using items, with a cooldown of about two minutes. When using a pickaxe to harvest crops, he gains more yield. He has a chance to harvest rare variants such as golden carrots, leaves for golden apples, or glistering melons. Glistering melons can be eaten as food. He can toggle the Slow Falling effect on or off at will.
  • Arachnid: Arachnid has the Webshot ability, which allows him to shoot webs to pull himself to blocks or mobs. Arachnid’s melee attacks can inflict poison with a certain probability. When climbing walls, his mining speed is not slowed down as usual. When crouching, Arachnid can squeeze through gaps one block high. Arachnid only takes fall damage if he falls from a height greater than sixteen blocks. Arachnid can also convert thread into silk by using nine threads to convert into one block of silk.
  • Elytrian: Elytrian has many different elytra visual styles for players to choose from. Elytrian has the ability to launch from the ground or climb high when flying, but this costs stamina. When wearing heavy armor, the stamina cost to fly or climb is higher. When hovering, damage from long-range attacks is greatly increased. Elytrian has the ability to let other players sit on it and fly with it, if they fly or are attacked, the person sitting on it can fall off.
  • Shulk: Shulk has higher static armor values ​​than the original Origin version. When crouching, Shulk gains extra armor, but if he is hit hard, he loses the bonus armor. Shulk can shoot Shulker beams or create a levitation effect on himself to fly.
  • Feline: Feline uses claws to attack, but needs to sharpen its claws with a variety of blocks in order: wood, smooth stone, iron block, and diamond block. When holding sneak, Feline can charge a high jump and when released, jump very high. Feline’s block breaking speed is significantly slower when mining certain types of stone, but this can be overcome with the right tools. Fish dishes provide more hunger and saturation for Feline. Feline also has the ability to turn on or off Night Vision.
  • Enderian: Enderian can be taller and has a greater reach than many other Origins. Enderian has the ability to dodge projectile attacks. When using an ender pearl, Enderian gains a period of invincibility to avoid suffocation from block jams. Additionally, Enderian can use Silk Touch on blocks even without using tools if this ability is activated.
  • Merling: Merling has a body moisture meter that the player must maintain if they want to stay healthy for a long time. If Merling is dry, Merling is affected, but when underwater or rained, the meter is restored. Merling has a longer lasting Conduit Power effect to help breathe well underwater and avoid drying out. While swimming underwater, Merling can dash and deal increased damage to tridents thrown or used in melee combat. Merling also performs well underwater and is often found in ocean habitats.
  • Blazeborn: Blazeborn has the ability to set himself on fire to activate his special ability. While on fire, Blazeborn can light a Campfire, Furnace, or Brewing Stand. When hitting an enemy while on fire, Blazeborn deals additional damage and causes the target to continue burning for a few seconds. Blazeborn moves faster in lava, has better vision while on fire, and can “swim” if submerged. Blazeborn can also fire multiple fireballs in rapid succession as a powerful attack.
  • Phantom: Phantom uses Soul Energy instead of hunger to maintain Phantom form or move through obstacles by phasing. While phasing, Phantom consumes Soul Energy faster than just Phantom form. Soul Energy regenerates over time, but regenerates faster when Phantom kills mobs or stands near a soul fire. Phantoms cannot phase through gold blocks, eat gold food, use gold armor, or gold tools. Phantoms can sense players or mobs behind walls using a glow effect, creating a unique tracking mechanic.
