Quark Oddities Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) is a small addition to the Quark mod that introduces several unusual features, including a pipe for item transfer, enabling simple and visually appealing automation of various processes. A fun fact—all these features are part of the main Quark mod, and this mod is nothing more than a convenient and user-friendly way to activate them. The mod file itself contains absolutely no content.

Features:

  • Backpack: You can obtain a rare item, a hide, by killing a Ravager, which increases inventory size.
  • Copper Pipes: The mod adds a copper pipe and a copper pipe inside a glass block. These pipes are easy to use; you can interact with them via hoppers or dispensers, or simply throw items directly into the pipe. Items move through the pipe on their own, attempting to find an exit, and pop out like a dispenser at the pipe’s end. Items follow simple rules inside the pipe—e.g., they move downward if possible, but reverse direction if the exit is blocked. The pipe can be stopped with a redstone signal, and the number of items in the pipe can be counted using a comparator. If more than 16 items are in one section of the pipe, the pipe breaks.
  • Magnets: A magnet block that repels or attracts metallic blocks (installed ones).
  • Matrix Enchanting: A completely redesigned enchanting system. You can generate various patterns (the higher the enchantment table level, the more patterns). These patterns resemble Tetris shapes; the more patterns you fit into the enchanting area, the more powerful enchantments you can achieve. You can rotate and combine shapes.
  • Storage Crate: An alternative storage block that can hold up to 640 items. All items are counted—e.g., one stack of 64 items in one slot or 64 individual items spread across slots will still count as 64 occupied slots.
  • Tiny Potato: A small potato that believes in itself. You can pat it (right-click), name it at an anvil, and give it items to hold.
  • Totem of Holding: When a player dies, a totem appears at the location holding all of the player’s items. Any player can retrieve these items. If the player who created the totem dies again, the totem breaks and all items drop.
