Repurposed Structures Mod (1.21.6, 1.20.1) – New Terrain, Village, Dungeon
Repurposed Structures Mod (1.21.6, 1.20.1) is a mod that focuses on modifying certain elements of predefined structures, including villages and dungeons across all dimensions. The mod also aims to alter specific areas of biomes to make them more varied and entertaining for players who enjoy exploring their surroundings. The idea behind these modifications is to create more diverse environments and increase the game’s difficulty, especially in dungeon areas, which will now be larger, made up of blocks from the biome they are found in, and more complicated. Additionally, dungeons can generate in the Nether and End dimensions. Regarding terrain generation, in the Taiga Hills biome, you can find giant trees and large rocks containing mineral resources. You can also find larger trees in swamps, villages and temples in the Badlands biome, dirt and stone ‘igloos’ in the mountains, giant villages in the Taiga biome, and more.
Features:
- It adds new versions of familiar structures like Desert Villages, Jungle Fortresses, or Ocean Mineshafts – tailored to different biomes.
- You’ll find structures like Underground Bastions, Land Ruins, and Stone Igloos in places you’d never expect. Some even include unique loot or mob configurations.
- The mod uses Minecraft’s datapack system, so you can tweak spawn rates, disable specific structures, or even add your own custom pieces.
- It works server-side only, meaning vanilla clients can connect without needing to install the mod themselves.
- No New Blocks or Mobs: It sticks to the vanilla aesthetic, so everything feels like it belongs in the base game—just with more variety and surprise.
