Right Click Detection for Any Item Data Pack (1.21.1, 1.21)

Right Click Detection for Any Item Data Pack allows you to trigger custom actions when a player right-clicks with a specific item. Starting from version 1.20.5, you can add a right-click check for any item that doesn’t already use a right-click event. To do this, add the minecraft:food component to the item. Note that you need to actually consume this item for the usage statistics to change. These items are commonly used for right-click detection. You can track interactions with them using scoreboards.

Features:

• Carrot on a Stick and Warped Fungus on a Stick: These items are commonly used for right-click detection. You can track interactions with them using scoreboards.
• Throwable Items: Certain throwable items, such as ender pearls, eyes of ender, lingering potions, Bottle o’ Enchanting, and splash potions, can also be detected by right-clicking in the air.
