Scavenger Vicinity Storage Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) – Loot Ground Drops

Scavenger Vicinity Storage Mod reworks the Minecraft inventory screen into a tactical survival interface inspired by DayZ. It stops automatic item pickup so you collect ground loot deliberately through a proximity screen. Nearby containers like chests, barrels, and shulker boxes appear directly inside your inventory view for quick looting. You can also view your active held item in a large display and drag gear directly onto your character model.

Features:

Vicinity Grid and Looting:

• Scans for dropped items and storage blocks within a 3-block radius.
• Combines ground items and containers into a single scrollable vicinity list.
• Displays storage blocks as icons with distance measurements and coordinate tooltips.
• Lets you click container icons to open inline drawers right below the vicinity list.
• Removes automatic item pickup so you manually choose what loot to take.

Hands Slot and Equipment:

• Mirrors your active hotbar item inside a large translucent panel.
• Renders held items at double scale with an item name banner.
• Includes the standard 2×2 crafting container and result slot in the interface.
• Lets you drag armor and clothing onto the survivor panel to equip items quickly.

How to Use:

1. Walk near dropped items or storage containers within a 3-block radius.
2. Press E to open your inventory screen.
3. Check the Vicinity column on the left to view all nearby items.
4. Click nearby container icons to open slide-out drawers and take loot.
5. Drag items into your storage slots or drag armor onto the survivor panel.
