SCP-001 When Day Breaks Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – The Sun Is Deadly

SCP-001 When Day Breaks Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) adds a global danger event inspired by the SCP universe. During this event, sunlight becomes deadly and changes how players must survive during the day.

Features:

• A warning appears during the night before the event starts
• The event activates the next morning
• Direct sunlight becomes hazardous to living entities
• Entities under solid cover are safe
• The event normally ends when night begins

Sunlight Effect

• Mobs exposed to the sun receive the Melting Effect
• Affected mobs quickly die and transform into Sludge creatures
• Staying underground or fully covered prevents the effect

Sludge Evolution Chain

• Sludge
  • Passive creature
  • Drops edible Sludge Meat
  • Merges with others to evolve
• Sludge Thing
  • Larger passive form
  • Continues merging
• Sludge Mass
  • Becomes hostile
  • Stronger and more dangerous
• Sludge Chunk
  • Large hostile form
  • High durability
• Sludge Abomination
  • Very large and powerful
  • Breaks blocks and deals heavy damage

• Make the event permanent:
  • /gamerule permanentWhenDayBreaks true
• Force start the event:
  • /gamerule allowsWarning false
  • /gamerule whenDayBreaksActive true
• Stop the event:
  • /gamerule allowsWarning true
  • /gamerule whenDayBreaksActive false
