SCP-002 The Living Room Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – The Room Is Alive

SCP-002 The Living Room Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) adds a dangerous anomalous structure from the SCP universe. It appears as a large organic sphere that contains a strange interior space filled with abnormal furniture.

Features:

Spawn & Structure

• Generates underground in the Overworld
• Appears inside a containment-style chamber
• Looks like a large organic sphere with a metal valve door
• Main blocks are indestructible

Entrance Behavior

• The valve door opens automatically when a player comes within 5 blocks
• The door closes when no entity is near
• The door cannot be opened manually
• If a creature enters, the door seals until that creature is defeated

Interior Effects

• Inside is a small fleshy room with furniture-like objects
• Movement is heavily slowed inside the structure
• Entities inside take continuous damage over time

Transformation Result

• If a player is defeated inside, a random furniture block appears, such as:
  • Couch
  • Table
  • Lamp
  • Shelf
  • TV or radio
  • Rug or flower pot
  • Books
• Non-player mobs can also be absorbed but leave no furniture
