SCP-294 The Coffee Machine Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – Mystery Drinks, Risky Rewards

SCP-294 The Coffee Machine Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) adds a mysterious drink dispenser to Minecraft that can create many different liquids, each with its own effect. This block looks like a normal coffee machine, but when you interact with it, you can select a special drink and receive it in a cup. Every use costs 1 XP level. If you have no XP levels, it will not produce a drink.

How it works

• Right-click SCP-294 to open the drink menu
• Select a drink from the list
• Receive a filled cup
• Each use costs 1 XP level
• Each drink gives a different effect

Where it spawns

• Generates inside a containment chamber
• Usually underground in the overworld
• More than one machine can generate per world

Drink effect types

• Helpful drinks
  • Give buffs like Speed, Regeneration, Absorption
  • Remove negative effects like Poison or Nausea
  • Restore fire or status conditions
• Risky drinks
  • May deal damage
  • May apply negative effects like Wither, Blindness, or Weakness
  • Some can ignite the player or trigger an explosion
• Special drinks
  • Liquid Gold and Liquid Iron can be smelted into ingots
  • Surprise gives a random drink effect
  • Some drinks include rare or humorous text events

Notes

• All drinks cost exactly 1 XP level per cup
• Effects vary from very useful to very dangerous
• Best used when you are prepared for unexpected results
