Skylands Over The Sea Mod (1.21.8, 1.20.1) is a world generation mod that restructures the overworld into floating islands while relocating all ocean biomes beneath them. Cave systems and underground biomes remain present but are generated beneath the ocean layer.

Features:

  • Replaces standard terrain with floating islands suspended above the ocean layer.
  • All ocean biomes are generated directly beneath the islands, forming a continuous water mass at lower altitudes.
  • Cave networks and underground biomes spawn below the ocean, retaining full ore and structure availability.
  • Introduces a vertical progression from sky-based terrain to underwater exploration.
