Smooth Chunk Save Mod saves chunks continuously over time, reducing server lag and preventing lagspikes from saving too many chunks at once. Server here also applies to playing in single-player worlds, as those are running an integrated server.
Features:
- Vanilla: Server with 3 players. Chunk saving takes ~ 11% of the server tick.
- With smooth chunk saving: 0.3% of the server tick
- Depending on some varying factors this can give you up to 10% more server side performance effectively, with no downsides.
Configs:
- Set the time interval after which a chunk is saved.
- Disable the global saving of all chunks every 5 minutes.
- Only Required on server side (Integrated/Dedicated).
