StoneTombs (26+, 1.21) – MCPE/Bedrock Addon

The StoneTombs pack transforms the experience of player death in Minecraft Bedrock, ensuring that progress is never lost, even in the most perilous situations. This comprehensive addon introduces a robust grave system that safeguards a player’s inventory upon death, providing a suite of tools to locate, track, and recover lost items. It is designed to enhance survival gameplay, multiplayer servers, and Realms by making death recovery safer and more intuitive. To function correctly, this addon requires Experimental Features to be enabled in the world settings.

When a player dies, StoneTombs automatically creates a personal grave containing their inventory. Each grave is unique and comes with a corresponding Grave Key, specifically linked to that grave. This key not only grants access to the grave’s contents but also serves as a crucial tracking device, displaying the live distance and direction to the grave. For added convenience, administrators can configure Grave Keys to be enchanted, allowing players to teleport directly back to their grave, potentially with an associated XP cost. The pack also introduces a Grave Manager, a centralized interface within the Personal Config, where players can view and manage all their active graves, track them, teleport, or even delete them permanently.

A significant safety improvement in StoneTombs is its Smart Safe Grave Placement system. Instead of simply placing a grave at the exact death location, the system intelligently searches for safe, natural ground nearby, avoiding dangerous areas like lava, unstable terrain, or the void. If no safe spot is found, it automatically constructs a 4×4 emergency platform, adapting its material to the current dimension-cobblestone for the Overworld, blackstone for the Nether, and end stone for the End. This ensures that graves are always placed securely, preventing items from being lost to environmental hazards. With 17 distinct grave models and 15 grave-name colors, players can also enjoy a rich visual customization experience for their tombs.
