The Scorched Mod adds a dangerous volcanic wasteland to your Overworld. It turns normal terrain into a hot, burned landscape filled with magma and dark stone. You can explore this new biome to find hidden structures and gather unique materials. The mod gives you a fresh survival challenge with new creatures and a quest system to guide your adventure.

The Scorched Mod

Features:

  • The Scorched Biome: Replaces normal dirt and grass with dark volcanic blocks, rough basalt, and dangerous magma pools.
  • Ashbound Forger NPC: Introduces a special villager who gives you a task book instead of regular trades.
  • Changes the sky, fog, and water colors to match the hot, dry feeling of the wasteland.
  • Generates mysterious Ashbound structures across the burned landscape for you to find.
  • Brings unique blocks to the game, like the Scorched Shrub, Ashbound Chest, and Scorched Forge.
  • Adds the Cinder Membrane, a new material connected to creatures that live in the heat.
  • Spawns new biome-specific mobs like the Cinderling to test your survival skills.

How to Use:

  1. Find the Scorched biome while exploring the Overworld.
  2. Look for the Ashbound Forger NPC wandering inside the burned lands.
  3. Interact with the Forger to receive your first task book.
  4. Complete the objectives listed in the book to unlock new tasks and progress further.
