The Skinwalker Hunt Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) – Beware of Shapeshifting Monsters

The Skinwalker Hunt Mod adds terrifying shapeshifting monsters to your Overworld adventures. These creatures hide in plain sight disguised as harmless farm animals and friendly villagers. When night falls, deep in dark caves, or if you strike them first, they reveal their true forms and hunt you down. You must stay alert, defend yourself against fast attacks, and gather rare monster drops to brew potent status potions.

Features:

• Spawns rare Skinwalkers across any Overworld biome disguised as cows, sheep, pigs, cats, wolves, or villagers.
• Skinwalkers transform into their tall true form within ten blocks at night, inside caves, or when attacked.
• Transforms back into passive animal forms during daylight if left unharmed throughout the night.
• Breaks nearby blocks and scales walls up to five blocks high when chasing players.
• Inflicts Nausea and Blindness effects with every melee hit.
• Drops rare loot including monster eyes, bones, flesh, Netherite Scrap, and enchanted iron axes.
• Introduces the Chupacabra, a swift predator with high health that attacks livestock, villagers, minecarts, and boats.
• Brews custom potions using monster parts to gain Night Vision, Regeneration, and Strength.
• Crafts decorative wall trophies and wearable masks from monster drops.

Monsters:

• Skinwalker: Has 500 health and 8 attack damage, scaling five blocks high and smashing obstacles during pursuit.
• Chupacabra: Has 1000 health and 6 attack damage, regenerates slowly, ignores fire damage, and preys on animals.

Items and Equipment:

• Potion of the Skinwalker Hunt: Brewed with monster parts to give Night Vision, Regeneration III, and Strength III.
• Skinwalker Mask: A wearable monster mask used for disguise or decoration.
• Skinwalker Trophy: A wall block crafted from a monster mask and wood planks.

Commands:

• /gamerule skinwalkerIronAxeDrop : Toggles whether Skinwalkers drop enchanted iron axes upon defeat.
• /gamerule doChupacabraBreaksBlocks : Toggles block-breaking behavior for Chupacabras.
