Wan’s Ancient Beasts Mod (1.20.4, 1.20.1) introduces prehistoric-inspired creatures, items, blocks, and structures to Minecraft. Each update expands the world with new mobs, unique taming mechanics, special equipment, and immersive exploration features.

Features:

  • Add multiple ancient creatures such as the Eater, Walker, Crusher, Glider, Soarer, Surfer, and more, each with unique behaviors, taming methods, and combat abilities.
  • Introduce themed structures like Mesa Temples, Ice Spike Castles, Desert Ruins, Abandoned Villages, Frozen Nests, Dig Sites, and Dead Coral biomes, containing eggs, fossils, and loot.
  • Expand gameplay with new blocks (straw blocks, crusher spikes, quicksand, and fossils) and mechanics such as suspicious sand/gravel/ice excavation.
  • Provide new items like the Ancient Club, Reinforced Shield, Hang Glider, Glider’s Feathers, Toxlacanth drops, and Surfer Armor.
  • Add special enchantments for the Ancient Club (Blood Thirst, Life Steal, Hunter’s Mark) and customization features like dyeable hang gliders or duplicable pottery sherds.
  • Integrate progression with breeding, taming, riding, combat scaling, and crafting systems, creating a layered prehistoric ecosystem.
