Animageddon Mob Overhaul Mod (1.21.1) – Protect Your Farm Animals

Animageddon Mob Overhaul Mod reworks animal behaviors and mob combat to make wilderness survival more challenging. Hostile monsters actively hunt peaceful farm animals across the world under the cover of darkness. This mod also rebalances animal breeding recipes, updates fishing mechanics, and changes how creepers and spiders fight players.

Hunting and Animal Behavior:

• Zombies search for and hunt cows and sheep during the night.
• Spiders actively chase and hunt down chickens and rabbits in the dark.
• Animals run faster toward players holding their favorite breeding items.
• Spiders shoot cobwebs directly at their targets to slow them down.

Breeding and Farming:

• Cows require cake to breed instead of basic wheat.
• Sheep require pumpkin pie to enter love mode.
• Chickens no longer breed normally and instead need Chicken Feed to produce eggs the next morning.

Combat and Survival Changes:

• Creepers drop Nitre instead of ready gunpowder, making gunpowder a craftable item.
• Creepers do not explode immediately after taking fall damage near players.
• Zombies prioritize attacking players, wait briefly before striking, and attack sheep and cows faster.
• Zombified Piglins have a thirty percent chance to spawn with golden tools.
• Cobwebs break apart in gradual stages unless harvested with shears, granting two string when uncrafted.
• Fishing requires fresh bait after each catch and only works in larger water pools.
• Bats drop Bat Wings, and players can prepare Cured Meat as a new food source.
