The Rus Against the Lizards Mod (26.1.2) – Defend Slavic Settlements

The Rus Against the Lizards Mod brings a folklore war between peaceful Slavic settlements and hostile reptilian invaders to your world. You can walk through fresh oak forests, trade with local villagers using gold coins, and recruit a heroic warrior companion to guard the town. This mod also lets you trigger multi-wave siege battles, use lightning blessings, and battle a giant lizard boss for rare loot.

Features:

World and Settlements:

• Adds the Slavic Forest biome filled with tall oak trees and grazing farm animals.
• Spawns Slavic Villages that house peaceful townsfolk and an ancestral champion.
• Generates Lizard Camps guarded by hostile reptilian fighters gathered around war banners.

Economy and Companions:

• Introduces zlatniks, a new coin currency obtained by defeating lizards, selling items, and completing raids.
• Lets you trade with the Elder, Slavic Man, and Slavic Woman for weapons, armor, food recipes, and rare treasures.
• Provides every village with a Bogatyr warrior who follows your orders, wears equipped gear, and levels up when fully armored.

Gear and Blessings:

• Lets you craft a Lizard Head disguise to walk through enemy camps without getting attacked.
• Adds placeable Pancakes for quick food bites and a Flower Crown that grants high luck until hit.
• Includes the Bottle of Baikal Water and the placeable Idol of Perun to summon lightning strikes against enemies during combat.

Lizard Warband and Raids:

• Populates enemy camps with standard lizards, banner-bearing warriors, healing support units, and shotgun-wielding engineers.
• Starts a 5-wave village siege called Reptilian Revenge whenever you defeat a banner bearer and return home.
• Features the Lizard Brute boss in the final raid wave, complete with 300 health, ground stomps, tail swings, and unique weapon drops.

Commands:

• /locate structure tral:slavic_village: Locates the nearest Slavic village in your world.
• /locate structure tral:lizard_camp: Locates the nearest lizard camp structure.

How to Use:

1. Explore your world to find a Slavic Forest and locate a Slavic village.
2. Right-click the village Bogatyr to open his inventory, equip his gear, or tell him to follow you.
3. Craft a Lizard Head using lizard scales and a leather helmet to disguise yourself around enemy camps.
4. Trade goods with villagers for zlatnik coins and buy powerful Slavic equipment.
5. Place an Idol of Perun in your village and eliminate a lizard banner bearer to begin the raid defense.
