Motschen’s Puddles Mod (1.19.3, 1.18.2) introduces an interesting weather feature, in which, players will find small puddles being left over after heavy rain. Similar to our real world, water would often stay when a harsh rain has gone by. However, this is the opposite in the world of vanilla Minecraft as there would be no trace of water after a harsh rain, thus making it seems rather unrealistic. Once Motschen’s vision has been realized, players would find the weather more realistic and immersive than the average players. While these puddles are harmless, players might be slowed every time they walk by them, therefore, we suggest players be careful around these puddles. As the weather becomes better and the sun starts to show, the puddles will slowly disappear from the surface of the overworld. Furthermore, snow layers will also pile up whenever a snowstorm is presented as an additional feature.
