Better Fusion Reactor For Mekanism PLUS Mod adds a more challenging system to the fusion reactors from Mekanism Generators. Instead of a simple “set and forget” setup, this addon introduces a reactivity mechanic. You must now balance the Current Reactivity (CR) with the Target Reactivity (TR). The closer these two values are, the more efficient your reactor becomes, leading to more energy, steam, or heat.

Features:

Introduces a dynamic reactivity system where you must match Current Reactivity to a changing Target Reactivity.
Your reactor’s efficiency directly impacts its output of power, steam, and heat.
If efficiency drops below 80%, an Error Level starts to rise.
Reaching a 100% Error Level will automatically shut down the reactor.
Keeping efficiency above 80% will slowly lower the Error Level.
Manage a Heat Multiplier (HM) that affects how quickly errors build up and how often the target changes.
Plasma temperature and the type of cooling used will influence the Heat Multiplier.
Adds a new machine called the Irradiator, which uses radiation to transform items.
Provides new user interfaces for the Reactor Controller and Reactor Logic Port.
Requires automation with redstone or computers for the best performance.
Any existing fusion reactors must be rebuilt to work with the new system.

How to Use:

Rebuild any existing fusion reactors, as old ones will not work with this addon.
Monitor the reactor’s interface to keep the Current Reactivity (CR) as close to the Target Reactivity (TR) as possible.
Try to keep efficiency above 80% to prevent the Error Level from increasing.
Control the Heat Multiplier (HM) by adjusting the fuel injection rate and using water for cooling.
For maximum output, set up an automated system using redstone or computers to manage the reactor’s settings.
