Blast Mod (1.21.10, 1.20.1) – Bombs, Explosion
Blast Mod (1.21.10, 1.20.1) will add several new types of bombs and explosives to Minecraft, allowing you to use explosions to mine resources, dig tunnels, or fight mobs and other players.
The mod adds several types of throwable bombs: some explode after a short delay, others explode on impact. Bombs can be iron, gold, or diamond – the more expensive the bomb, the stronger the explosion. BLAST also adds a gunpowder block which, unlike TNT, explodes instantly when activated, and all gunpowder blocks within the blast radius will also detonate.
For quickly digging tunnels and mining resources, the mod adds a special type of TNT: after it explodes, a tunnel is formed in the direction the block was placed.

Features:
- BLAST bombs drop all lootable blocks they destroy.
- Items are not destroyed by explosions, but can be knocked back.
- Bombs stack up to 16 and have a 1 second cooldown outside of Creative mode.
Bomb Types
- Basic Bombs
- Iron Bomb
- Explosion power: 1
- Fuse time: 2 seconds
- Defused and dropped when it comes into contact with water.
- Trigger Bomb
- Explosion power: 1
- Explodes on impact instead of after a fuse.
- Explodes underwater but does not destroy blocks.
- Iron Bomb
- Gold Tier
- Golden Bomb
- Behaves like the normal bomb.
- Applies Fortune III to all blown-up blocks.
- Piglins are attracted to this bomb.
- Golden Trigger Bomb
- Trigger variant of the Golden Bomb.
- Explodes underwater without destroying blocks.
- Golden Bomb
- Diamond Tier
- Diamond Bomb
- Ignores explosion resistance of most blocks.
- Can destroy obsidian and similarly tough blocks.
- Cannot destroy bedrock, barriers, end portal frames, and other admin-only blocks.
- Diamond Trigger Bomb
- Trigger variant of the Diamond Bomb.
- Explodes underwater without causing block destruction.
- Diamond Bomb
- Dirt Bombs
- Crafted by surrounding a normal bomb with 8 Dirt Blocks.
- Create a dirt pile instead of destroying blocks.
- Useful for filling creeper holes and repairing terrain.
- Pearl Bombs
- Crafted like normal bombs but with an Ender Pearl as the base material.
- Apply a Silk Touch effect to all blocks in the explosion radius.
- Randomly teleport entities caught in the blast.
- Confetti Bombs
- Available as timed and trigger variants.
- Do not damage terrain; instead, they spread confetti particles on explosion.
- Confetti remains on the ground for about 1 minute.
- Crafting (shapeless):
- Timed Confetti Bomb: 7 Paper, 1 Gunpowder, 1 String
- Trigger Confetti Bomb: 7 Paper, 1 Gunpowder, 1 Redstone Dust
- Slime Bombs
- Crafted with 1 Gunpowder, 1 Slimeball, and 1 String or Redstone Dust.
- Deal no damage to entities.
- Provide increased knockback, useful for crowd control and fun interactions.
- Amethyst Bombs
- Crafted like standard bombs using an Amethyst Block as the base material.
- Replace normal explosion damage with 70 amethyst shards fired in all directions.
- Each shard deals 8 damage (4 hearts).
- Frost Bombs
- Alternative to Amethyst Bombs, using Packed Ice as the base material.
- Launch icicles instead of shards.
- Each icicle deals very low damage but applies freezing effects that bypass armor without damaging it.
- Naval Mines
- Trigger-on-impact bombs designed for underwater use.
- Can destroy blocks underwater.
- Have an explosion power of 4.
- Exist only as a trigger variant.
Blocks and Devices
- Remote Detonator
- Instantly triggers adjacent explosives when activated.
- To activate:
- Look towards the Remote Detonator.
- Throw an Ender Eye in its direction.
- The Ender Eye teleports into the device and triggers it.
- The Ender Eye can be recovered with a hopper placed beneath the block.
- Can be triggered through walls and at long distances as long as the player is looking at it.
- Gunpowder Block
- Compact storage for gunpowder.
- Highly sensitive to explosions and fire; explodes almost instantly when exposed.
- Produces a fiery explosion with power 4.
- Stripminer
- Functions similarly to TNT but focuses its power in one direction.
- Creates a tunnel approximately 3×3 blocks wide.
- Orientation:
- Faces the direction the player is looking when placed.
- Direction is inverted while sneaking on placement.
- When triggered by other explosives, direction and fuse time may vary slightly.
- Cold Digger
- Upgrade to the Stripminer.
- Crafted by surrounding a Stripminer with 4 Packed Ice.
- Still creates a 3×3 tunnel.
- Replaces additional surrounding blocks with Dry Ice.
- Transforms lava into Basalt in the blast path.
- Dry Ice
- Special ice block that does not melt.
- Does not create water when broken.
- Emits ambient particles.
- Must be mined with Silk Touch.
- Bonesburrier
- Specialized explosive designed for destroying Bonesburrow structures.
- Knocks blocks around the explosion area.
- Spreads Folly Red Paint around the blast zone.
- Folly Red Paint
- Generated by Bonesburrier explosions.
- Behaves similarly to honey blocks (sticky) before drying.
- Drying and variants:
- Normal Folly Red Paint dries into Dried Folly Red Paint.
- Both normal and dried variants can be converted into Fresh Folly Red Paint using Honey Bottles (via interaction or crafting).
- Fresh Folly Red Paint does not dry out.
- Normal and fresh variants can be smelted in a furnace to create Dried Folly Red Paint, which is the only non-sticky version.
