Compact Structural Decoration Mod (26.2, 1.21.1) – Place Blocks Together

Compact Structural Decoration Mod lets you place different blocks together inside the exact same block space. You can put carpets, moss, or snow layers directly underneath torches, flowers, and lanterns without breaking them. The mod helps you build packed rooms and detailed builds without leaving empty gaps around your decorations.

Features:

• Allows up to 64 compatible block parts to fit into one single block cell.
• Lets you place carpets, moss carpets, and snow layers right at the feet of plants and torches.
• Keeps each placed block part separate so you can click, switch, or break pieces individually.
• Adds waterlogging and lava-logging options to compatible pieces.
• Creates obsidian-logged parts when water meets lava inside a shared space.
• Transmits redstone power through composite block spaces without interruption.
• Works with doors, trapdoors, fence gates, stairs, levers, lamps, and copper bulbs.
• Spawns snow layers under vegetation naturally in cold biomes.

How to Use:

1. Hold a carpet, moss carpet, or snow layer in your hand.
2. Aim at the bottom area of a plant, torch, lantern, or door and right-click to place it.
3. Hold Shift and right-click the top surface of a placed block to add another block on top of it.
4. Hold Shift and right-click the bottom of a block while holding a lantern to hang it in that space.
5. Aim directly at any specific part to interact with doors and switches, or mine to break only that piece.
6. Use water or lava buckets directly on a target piece to fill or empty it.

Commands:

• /gamerule no_more_gap:max_composite_parts <amount>: Sets the maximum number of parts that can fit into a single block space.
• /gamerule no_more_gap:do_lava_logging_reactions : Toggles whether lava-logged parts react when touching water.

Configuration:

• composite_render_distance_chunks: Controls render distance for composite blocks, with 0 using the standard game setting.
• max_composite_parts_default: Sets the default part limit per block space from 2 to 64.
• do_lava_logging_reactions_default: Controls water and lava reactions for lava-logged parts.
• snow_logged_vegetation_biome_tint: Toggles biome color tinting on snow-covered plants.
• snowy_vegetation_generation: Toggles natural snow placement under plants in cold biomes.
