Corrupted Vile Expansion Mod (1.20.1) – Summon and Battle the Undead Skeleton

Corrupted Vile Expansion Mod extends Defiled Lands with a new undead boss and its skeleton army. This mod brings a two-phase boss battle alongside three minion types that spawn in dangerous biomes. Players can craft summoning items to challenge the king at an altar and earn rare crafting materials alongside a heavy blade.

Features:

• Adds the Skeleton King, a summonable two-phase undead boss with special combat mechanics and custom animations.
• Introduces three skeleton minion variants that assist the boss and roam hostile biomes.
• Spawns minions naturally in Defiled biomes as well as Nether Soul Sand Valleys.
• Brings the Skeleton King’s Blade, a slow and heavy weapon that inflicts Vulnerability on hit.
• Provides the Royal Skull item used to trigger the boss fight at active Conjuring Altars.
• Boss drops include bones, Umbrium Ingots, Scarlite, and guaranteed weapon drops.

Skeleton King Boss:

• Spawns only through manual summoning at an active Conjuring Altar.
• Features full immunity to fire, knockback, fall damage, and damage from other undead mobs.
• Hovers above the ground and pursues targets upward if they try to build higher.
• Phase one uses wide sweeping melee cuts, charges that pass damage through blocks, teleport strikes, and minion summons.
• Phase two triggers below half health, giving the boss faster movement, reduced damage taken, melee lifesteal, magic damage immunity, and a defensive guard stance that counters incoming hits.

New Minion Mobs:

• Skeleton Warrior: A melee fighter with readable wind-up animations that allow timed dodges.
• Skeleton Archer: A ranged attacker that keeps distance and kites players while firing arrows.
• Skeleton Mage: A support mob that casts debuffing skulls, drops healing zones for undead allies, and teleports behind other skeletons when approached.

Items and Equipment:

• Royal Skull: A craftable summon item used by right-clicking an active Conjuring Altar.
• Skeleton King’s Blade: A fireproof heavy weapon dealing bonus damage against living targets and applying the Vulnerability effect.

How to Use:

1. Craft a Royal Skull item using the required materials.
2. Locate a Conjuring Altar and clear the two blocks directly above it so it becomes active.
3. Right-click the top of the altar with the Royal Skull to summon the boss.
4. Dodge the initial attacks during the invulnerability wind-up phase before attacking.
5. Defeat both phases of the Skeleton King to collect the Skeleton King’s Blade and crafting resources.
