Create Alexs Caves Compat Mod (1.20.1, 1.20) is a mod that integrates Create and Alex’s Caves, adding crafting recipes, compatibility effects, and feature improvements to both mods. The mod adds recipes for grinding ore, Potato Cannon bullets from Alex’s Caves food, and optimizes interactions with blocks and items in areas such as Candy Cavity, Toxic Caves, Magnetic Caves, Primordial Caves, and Abyssal Chasm. The resource pack option changes textures and item names, while new recipes make many blocks/items renewable. See additional_compats.txt in the mod folder for details.

Features:

  • General: Added grinding recipes for Alex’s Caves ores (Galena Iron, Radrock Uranium, Guanostone Redstone, Coprolith Coal); foods like Candy Cane, Caramel, Frostmint, Radgill make Potato Cannon projectiles with special effects; some large mobs (Tremorzilla, Magnetron, etc.) can’t sit on the Create chair.
  • Candy Cavity: Retexture chocolate Create (if using resource pack); Create candy appears in Candy Cavity chests; recipes for chocolate, cream, caramel, peppermint powder; Gingerbread Men steal candy; many blocks (Chocolate, Peppermint, Frosting) are renewable.
  • Toxic Caves: Acid pouring recipe to rust metal/copper; grinding Sulfur, Radrock into materials; Green Soylent recipe from Rotten Flesh.
  • Magnetic Caves: Create blocks/items are magnetic to Neodymium; fixed metal crate bug on contraption; Recipes for grinding Galena, Neodymium into Iron Nugget, Raw Neodymium.
  • Primordial Caves: Rename Limestone to Dolomite (if using resource pack); grind Limestone, Heavy Bones, Fiddlehead, Flytraps into materials; Primal Magma self-heating boiler Create.
  • Abyssal Chasm: Rename/texture diving suit and Copper Valve (if using resource pack); Recipes for Abyssmarine, Marine Snow; Recipes for regenerating Muck, Geothermal Vents.
