Fast Recipes Mod fixes heavy lag spikes when you open crafting tables or search for items in large modpacks. It changes how the game looks up recipes so everything loads instantly, even if you play with hundreds of thousands of new items.

Configuration:

If your game crashes while loading recipes at startup, you can fix it by changing a simple setting:

  1. Open the config/fastrecipes-common.toml file in your game folder.
  2. Find the line for UseAsyncRecipesLoader and change it to false.

You can also test the speed of this mod yourself:

  1. Open the same config/fastrecipes-common.toml file.
  2. Set BenchmarkMode to true.
  3. Start your game and check the log files to see the speed test results.
  4. Remember to turn this setting off after you finish testing.
