Leafs Variants Mod (1.18.2) is an addon for the Isle of Berk mod that expands the dragon ecosystem with over 200 variants and several quality-of-life features. It is designed for survival and multiplayer, improving immersion without breaking balance.

Items & Mechanics

  • Baby Serum
    • Permanently turns a dragon into its baby form
    • Baby dragons can still be ridden
  • Dragon Documents
    • Shows original owner, current owner, and tame date
  • Dragon Growth Serum
    • Reduces growth time by 15 minutes per use
  • Dragon Scents
    • Reduces breeding cooldown
    • Usable every 10 minutes

  • Format: /summon isleofberk:<dragon> ~ ~ ~ {VariantName:<variant>}

  • Night Fury
    • Large variant pool (e.g. neptune, kelpie, demon, pearlescent)
    • Special variants:
      • Woolly Howl – ~15% from Night Fury eggs
      • Snow Wraith – ~2% from Night Fury eggs
  • Light Fury
    • Variants like jadefrost, piebalddeer, pinkwhisp
    • Sandwraith variants – ~15% from Light Fury eggs
  • Monstrous Nightmare
    • Variants like ice, oxidised, amethystgem
    • Special types:
      • Storming Nightmare – ~20% from eggs
      • Sentinel – ~10% chance
      • Singetail – ~10% chance
      • Pygmy Death – ~5% chance
      • Timberjack – ~2% chance
  • Skrill
    • Variants like ruby, lapis, cherryblossom
    • Skrillknapper – ~5% chance from eggs
  • Deadly Nadder
    • Variants like azu, lotuscurrent, iceborn
    • Graveknapper:
      • Spawn in special nest structures
      • Currently mostly command-only
  • Triple Stryke
    • Variants like amethesian, toxicity
    • Deathgripper – ~15% from eggs
  • Zippleback
    • Variants like sakura, minted, bloodstone
    • Snaptrapper – ~5% chance from eggs
  • Gronckle
    • Variants like obsidian, gilded, shadow
    • Also includes Rumblehorn-style variants
  • Other Dragons
    • Terrible Terror – small colorful variants
    • Stinger – themed variants (e.g. borealis, royalty)
    • Stormcutter – rare themed variants
    • Hushboggle – elemental/toxic variants
    • Scauldron – aquatic-themed variants

  • Often limited chance or themed spawning
