Mimicry Mod (1.7.10) – Double Any Smelted Item
Mimicry Mod adds a special resource called mimichite that can copy other items. This new ore lets you double the output of any item that can be smelted. You can also use it to get more of any dye color. The mod uses Minecraft’s Ore Dictionary to work with many different items. Mimichite ore can be found in the Overworld, the Nether, and the End, so you can gather it in any dimension.

Features:
- Introduces a new resource, Mimichite, which spawns as an ore in all three dimensions.
- Double the output of any smeltable item by combining it with one Mimichite in a crafting grid.
- Craft Mimichite with any dye to create more of that specific dye.
- Adds the Mimikinetic Upheaver, a block that automatically mines ores in an area around it.
- Upgrade the Mimikinetic Upheaver through multiple tiers to increase its mining area and fortune level.
- Craft Mimic Orbs and Mimic Blocks as components for higher-tier items.
- The ore spawn rate and crafting output can be changed in the configuration files for server owners.
How to Use:
- Find and mine the purple Mimichite Ore that spawns in the world.
- To duplicate an item like an iron ingot, place one ingot and one Mimichite into a crafting grid. This will give you two iron ingots.
- To get more dye, place one dye and one Mimichite in a crafting grid.
- To use the automatic miner, craft and place a Mimikinetic Upheaver block.
- Power the Mimikinetic Upheaver with a redstone signal, like a lever, to make it start mining nearby ores.
Crafting Recipes:

Mimic orb: 9 Mimichite
Mimic block: 81 Mimichite
Tier 0
Size 10×10 = 100 blocks
Fortune 0
Mimichite ore needed: 81+4×9+4×1=121 (1 stack + 57)
ores / block: 1,21
Tier 1
Size 12×12 = 144 blocks
Fortune I
Mimichite ore needed: 121+4×9+4×1=161 (2 stacks + 33)
ores / block: 1,12
Tier 2
Size 14×14 = 196 blocks
Fortune II
Mimichite ore needed: 161+6×9+2×1=217 (3 stacks + 25)
ores / block: 1,1
Tier 3
Size 16×16 = 256 blocks
Fortune III
Mimichite ore needed: 217+8×9=289 (4 stacks + 33)
ores / block: 1,12
Higher tier will require a lot more ores to craft, but the difference is not that big when looking at ores per active block. If you then consider Fortune into this, the highest tier is absolutely worth building. I would like to say that building the first tier is ok to use early for quick resources, but after that you should save material and go for highest tier. The ores/block ratio is best in tier 0, and tier 3 is better or as good as the other tiers. If you add up Fortune 3 on top of that I would say that tier 1 and 2 are not worth doing as soon as you have left tier 0.
