Mineral Chance Mod is a Minecraft mod that makes mining more exciting by adding a random chance to discover hidden minerals when breaking stone-type blocks.
Features:
- Hidden Mineral Drops: Breaking stone blocks may yield valuable minerals like:
- Overworld: Diamonds, iron nuggets, gold nuggets, lapis lazuli, redstone, emeralds
- Nether: Quartz, gold nuggets, netherite scraps (1.16+)
- Supported Blocks:
- Overworld: Stone, andesite, diorite, granite, tuff, deepslate
- Nether: Netherrack, basalt, blackstone
- Drop Chance:
- Default is 1 in 50 for overworld blocks
- Default is 1 in 100 for nether blocks
- Fully configurable via datapacks or config files
- Configurable Settings:
- Toggle mineral drops for each dimension
- Adjust drop chances (
extraMineralChanceOnOverworldStoneBreak, etc.) - Disable drops when using Silk Touch
- Customize the message shown when a mineral is found
- Ignore fake players (e.g. mod automation)
