Minecraft’s underwater us a dark place. The semi transparent water turns foggy and completely opaque as the distance from the player increases. This makes it so that a player will be unable to see anything farther than a 12-15 block radius around him. This can be quite scary, since underwater hostile mobs like drowns may throw tridents at the player, and the player will be unable to determine the direction from which the trident was shot from. Losing your way inside underwater caves can also be a nightmare without clear sight.  PricelessKoala Clear Water Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) is here to fix this issue for you. This mod makes it so that the player will be able to see a much longer distance underwater. There is still a translucent layer, but the distant fog is completely removed and you will be able to see clearly for hundreds of blocks.
