Primitive Mobs Mod adds over 25 new creatures to make your Minecraft world more lively and surprising. You will find many new mobs, both friendly and hostile. Some creatures are pets you can tame, like chameleons that change color. Others are dangerous, like chests that are actually monsters in disguise or floating tools that attack you on sight. This mod fills your world with unique animals, villagers, and monsters to discover.

Features:

  • Discover more than 25 new mobs that spawn across the Overworld, Nether, and End.
  • Tame Chameleons with melons; they change color to match the block they stand on.
  • Fight Treasure Slimes, which are filled with random items they drop when defeated.
  • Beware of Haunted Tools, which are floating pickaxes and swords that attack players.
  • Find and rescue Lost Miners from deep caves to earn emeralds as a reward.
  • Trade with Traveling Merchants who wander the world offering unique deals.
  • Watch out for chests that might be Mimics, which attack when you try to open them.
  • Find Mother Spiders with babies on their back. You can get a Spider Egg to hatch your own tamed baby spider.
  • Encounter new types of Creepers, like the Rocket Creeper that launches into the air before exploding.
  • Defeat Bewitched Tomes floating in caves to get a random enchanted book.
  • Craft Camouflage Armor, which changes color and helps you sneak past mobs.
  • Meet Sheepmen in the Nether who trade items for gold ingots instead of emeralds.
  • Tangle with Brain Slimes on beaches that jump on your head to deal damage.

How to Use:

  1. To tame a Chameleon, right-click it with a Melon. You can make it sit by right-clicking with an empty hand.
  2. To rescue a Lost Miner, lead it to the surface where it can see the sky (above Y=50). Right-click the miner to receive 2-4 emeralds.
  3. Throw a Spider Egg, dropped by Mother Spiders, to get a tamed Baby Spider.
  4. Feed a tamed Baby Spider Fermented Spider Eyes to make it grow. Once it’s fully grown, you can ride it.
  5. Craft Camouflage Armor by combining a piece of Leather Armor with Camouflage Dye, which is dropped by Chameleons.
